San Diego British Brass Band Mission Statement

Musicians in and around San Diego have built a community band with instrumentation consistent with that of the British brass band*. The purpose of the San Diego British Brass band is to: 

 

• Perform a wide variety of brass band music that both interests and challenges our players​

• Provide a learning environment for high-school (and more experienced middle-school) students to be mentored and inspired by more experienced players 

• Serve and entertain our community. 
   

 

*unlike concert bands, the British-style brass band does not include woodwind.
